Mike's Electricity Fundamentals

Knowing that there are numerous books written by more intelligent men than Mike on the subject of electricity, he still wanted to prepare some information about the subject and share it with young persons that are interested in a basic understanding of electricity and electrical safety. Mike believes that everyone needs some knowledge about household electricity in order to insure their own personal safety. Electricity is very useful, but inherently dangerous. A continued pursuit of this subject requires a strong desire to learn, and the persistance to read and remember a lot of unfamiliar terms. A subject like "electricity" requires a persistant attitude because there is no plot to keep your interest as in a novel. Mike researched information about some notable electrical pioneers that earned their fame through discovery of the fundamental principles. Mike believes that it will be easier to learn about electricity if you understand where these terms originated. Also, one can appreciate the efforts of these pioneers for their scientific contributions to society.
